Council of the Laity invites Filipinos to webinar on St. Joseph

Filipino Catholics are invited to a webinar about Saint Joseph and why the faithful should consider deepening their relationship with Jesus’ foster father.

Scheduled on February 13 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., the event features renowned author and speaker Father Donald Calloway of the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception.

The Council of the Laity of the Philippines, the event’s organizer, said Father Calloway “will share with us how to make the Year of St. Joseph more meaningful and life-changing.”

For those who want to participate via zoom may register via email: laiko_phils@yahoo.com.ph.

The webinar will also be live streamed on the Facebook pages of CBCP News and Laiko.

The 48-year old American priest is known for his book titled “Consecration to St. Joseph: The Wonders of Our Spiritual Father.”

The book has sold more than 150,000 copies in the United States alone, making it one of the fastest selling Marian Press books of the last decade.

Pope Francis has proclaimed a “Year of Saint Joseph” from Dec. 8, 2020, to Dec. 8, 2021.

The announcement corresponds with the 150th anniversary of Blessed Pope Pius IX’s declaration of St. Joseph as patron of the Universal Church.
