A joint police and Army team rescued 11 children from harm and arrested three alleged child abusers in separate raids in Mati City last December 5.
The Philippine National Police Women and Children Protection center said the operation against online sexual abuse was made following a tip from Australian police who arrested a 43-year-old resident from Wangaratta City in Victoria, Australia.
The police said Australian authorities found child abuse materials and receipts of payments to the child abuse facilitators in Mati City.
